HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 35-1996RESOLUTION NO. 35-96 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING A TRANSFER OF $1,215,000 FROM THE UNDESIGNATED GENERAL FUND TO THE 1994-1995 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR CONSULTANT AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, COUNSEL SERVICES AND STAFF ADMINISTRATION AND AMENDING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (NO. 95-23) IN CONNECTION WITH GULL DRIVE REFUSE REMOVAL WHEREAS, United Parcel Service was to construct Gull Drive as a requirement to their facility expansion in 1990, based on the General Plan, to provide a more direct access to Highway 101; and WHEREAS, Gull Drive, currently under construction, will connect Oyster Point and Forbes Boulevards; and WHEREAS, during construction in 1995 approximately 100 feet of the 1,300 foot-long street was identified as containing hazardous materials; and WHEREAS, the hazardous materials has been stockpiled and classified for disposal; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. It hereby authorizes and approves a transfer of $1,215,000 from the Undesignated General Fund to the 1994-1995 Capital Improvement Program for consultant and construction services, counsel services, and staff administration for the Gull Drive Project and amends the 1994-1995 Capital Improvement Program (No. 95-23); and I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of March , 1996 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Eugene R. Mullin, John R. Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Jack Drago NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Cip-23.Gull Councilmember Joseph A. Fernekes
