A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT 96-12
TO THE 1995-1996 FIRE DEPARTMENT PAR/~EDIC
DIV]iSION BUDGET
WHEREAS, !$1~,194.62 has been donated to the Fire Department by
Genentech, InO. in order to purchase a new twelve lead EKG machine
and a varietylof medical materials and supplies; and
WHEREAS, ithis new equipment and supplies will enhance delivery
of Advance L~fe Support care to citizens of the community who
suffer heart attacks; and
WHEREAS, ithis funding will also enable the Fire Department to
equip at least one or possibly two engine companies with the
equipment and supplies necessary for the company to deliver
Paramedic level care when staffing permits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
city of SoutH San Francisco hereby authorizes the transfer of
$17,194.62 frOm the General Fund to the Fire Department Paramedic
Division budget to purchase the equipment and supplies for the Fire
Department's Paramedic Division.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at & reQu]ar meeting held on the 27th day of
