CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CDBG GRANT OF
FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000) AND A CDBG
MATCHING GRANT OF FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
($50,000) TO ROBERT AND KATHLEEN GIORGI FOR
EXTERIOR FACADE DESIGN, SIGNAGE, AND BUSINESS
EXPANSION
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Robert and Kathleen Giorgi have requested a Five
Thousand Dollar ($5,000) CDBG grant and a Fifty Thousand Dollar
($50,000) CDB~ matching grant to perform exterior facade design
improvement, Signage, and business expansion;
WHEREAS,i the City is authorized to issue a CDBG grant in
the amount ofl five thousand dollars ($5,000) and a CDBG matching
grant in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) to Robert
and Kathleen Giorgi for the purposes referenced herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Southl San Francisco as follows:
1. The City Council approves the Five Thousand Dollar
($5,000) CDBG! grant and the Fifty Thousand Dollar ($50,000) CDBG
matching grant for use by Robert and Kathleen Giorgi to perform
exterior facade design improvements, signage and business
expansion activities at 211 Linden Avenue in South San Francisco,
California. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all
documents necessary to implement the CDBG grant and CDBG matching
grant.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re.qular meeting held on the 27th
day of March 1996 by the following vote:
