RESOLUTION NO. 62-96
CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN
MATEO DECLARING THE PORTION OF WESTBOROUGH
BOULEVARD BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND WEST
ORANGE BOULEVARD A COUNTY HIGHWAY, AND ALSO
AGREEING TO SHARE CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR
RESURFACING OF THAT PORTION OF WESTBOROUGH
BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with the
County of San Mateo related to the resurfacing of Westborough
Boulevard between E1 Camino Real and West Orange Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the County is already undertaking efforts to
resurface the remainder of Westborough Boulevard between Junipero
Serra Boulevard and West Orange Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, for the City to participate in this agreement, it
must declare that portion of Westborough Boulevard between West
Orange and E1 Camino Real a county highway, and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco does hereby resolve as follows:
1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement between the City of South San Francisco and the County of
San Mateo, wherein the City will agree to reimburse the County
$16,000 for the City's share of the construction costs of
resurfacing Westborough Boulevard between West Orange Boulevard and
E1 Camino Real, and wherein said agreement declares that portion of
Westborough Boulevard a county highway.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at the regular
meeting held on the 8th day of May , 1996, by the
following vote:

Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Jack Drago
