HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 78-1996RESOLUTION NO. 78-96 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF TWO AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND CALTRANS FOR THE RAILROAD CROSSINGS ON UTAH AVENUE AND HARBOR WAY WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has applied for two federally funded projects which have been approved. NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City of South San Francisco, that: 1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of South San Francisco an Agreement between the City of South San Francisco and Caltrans for the installation of safety warning devises and surfacing at the railroad crossing on Utah Avenue in the amount of $235,928; and 2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of South San Francisco an Agreement between the City of South San Francisco and Caltrans for the installation of warning gates and surfacing at the railroad crossing on Harbor Way in the amount of $248,005. 3. A copy of the Agreements are on file in the Office of the City Clerk. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22nd day of May , 1996 by the following vote. AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin, John R. Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Jack Drago NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT None CALTRANS.RR City Clerk
