CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE WEST PARK 1, 2 & 3, GRANDVIEW
COMMONS, STONEGATE RIDGE AND WILLOW
GARDENS COMMON GREENS
WHEREAS, the City solicited competitive bids
maintenance of West Park 1, 2 & 3, Grandview Commons,
Ridge, and Willow Gardens Common Greens; and
for the
Stonegate
WHEREAS, the bids were received and opened on April 30, 1996;
and
WHEREAS, the Council waives a minor irregularity in the bid,
omission of a license number which since has been obtained; and
WHEREAS, North Bay Landscaping was the most responsive and
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest
responsible bidder, North Bay Landscaping, in the amount of Two
Hundred Sixty One Thousand Six Hundred ($261,600.00) Dollars, and
authorizes the city Manager to sign the agreement with North Bay
Landscaping which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
2. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the city Council of the city of South San
Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 22nd day of
May , 1996 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin, John R.
Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Jack Drago
NOES: None
