CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT
NO. 95-7 TO THE 1994-1995 OPERATING BUDGET
TO INCORPORATE ADMINISTRATIVE FUNDS FROM
THE RENTAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM FOR THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City has received administrative funds from the
Rental Rehabilitation Program in the amount of $5,925; and
WHEREAS, these funds are required by federal regulations to be
used for staff and support costs for the operations of the
rehabilitation program and must be set aside in an account that is
separate from the CDBG fund account; and
WHEREAS, an unprogrammed balance of $50,000 from CDBG
entitlement program which previously was allocated for removal of
barriers for access to City Hall had not been incorporated into the
budget; and
WHEREAS, in order to allow for expenditures to be billed
against the CDBG account, it is necessary for said funds to be
incorporated into the cUrrent budget.''
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco as follows:
1. The administrative balance in the amount of $5,925 is
appropriated to the CDBG 1994-1995 operating budget to be utilized
for the staff and supports costs for the operation of the
rehabilitation program.
2. The unprogrammed balance in the amount of $50,000 is
appropriated to the CDBG 1994-1995 operating budget to be utilized
for the previously specified'project, the removal of barriers for
access to City Hall.
3. There are no personnel costs associated with this grant
and no ongoing financial obligation for the City.
4. That it hereby authorizes Budget Amendment No. 95-7 to
the Operating Budget.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 8th day of
March , 1995 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Roberta Cerri Teglia and Mayor Robert Yee
