HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 14-1995RESOLUTION NO. 14-95 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO C/CAG FOR AB434 FIFTY PERCENT LOCAL SHARE CITY ALLOCATED FUNDS AND DESIGNATING THOSE FUNDS TO BE APPROPRIATED TO THE OPERATION AND PROGRAMS OF THE MULTI-CITY TSM AGENCY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995-1996 WHEREAS, the City desires to apply for its AB434 fifty percent local share of city allocated funds in the amount of $51,748; WHEREAS, the City desires to designate its AB434 fifty percent local share funds in an amount not to exceed $51,748 to the Multi-City Transportation Agency to provide services such as local ride sharing programs, a commute awareness campaign, guaranteed ride home programs, transit incentive campaigns, shuttle service from rail stations to employment sites, demonstration projects involving telecommuting and alternative fuel vehicles, the development of a regional TDM-Information System and the implementation of a comprehensive bicycle parking program for employers, all of which will be conducted in the MTSMA consortium cities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of South San Francisco, that: 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit an application for C/CAG AB434 fifty percent local share of city allocated funds; and 2. The City Council hereby designates its share of the AB434 fifty percent local share of city allocated funds in an amount not to exceed $51,748 to the Multi-City TSM Agency for the services described herein for fiscal year 1995-1996. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of March , 1995, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Joseph A.
