CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION IDENTIFYING THE SAN MATEO TIMES,
THE ENTERPRISE JOURNAL AND THE SAN FRANCISCO
INDEPENDENT AS NEWSPAPERS AUTHORIZED TO
PUBLISH OFFICIAL NOTICES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has historically used
the Enterprise Journal as its newspaper for the publication of
official notices;
WHEREAS, the Enterprise Journal is no longer published in the
city of South San Francisco;
WHEREAS, Government Code § 6042 authorizes the city to publish
notices in a newspaper of general circulation in a newspaper
published in a City nearest to the City of South San Francisco,
when the city of South Francisco has no newspaper of general
circulation published within its City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. Official publications of the City of South San Francisco
may be published in the San Mateo Times, the Enterprise Journal and
the San Francisco Independent.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 26th day of
April , 1995, by the following vote:
