CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT TO
PROVIDE RATE REVIEW SERVICES FOR THE SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO SCAVENGER COMPANY
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Scavenger Franchise Agreement
provides for review of the rate requests to be paid by the South
San Francisco Scavenger Company; and
WHEREAS, the Scavenger Company's current rate is effective
through October 31, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Hilton, Farnkopf & Hobson has been selected to assist
in the review of the South San Francisco Scavenger Company's 1995-
1997 rate application; and
WHEREAS, the approximate cost of the project is Thirty Five
Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00).
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to negotiate
and execute an Agreement in an amount not to exceed $35,000 to be
billed on a time and material basis between the city of South San
Francisco and Hilton Farnkopf & Hobson to assist in the review of
the South San Francisco Scavenger Company's 1995-1997 rate
application.
2. Project costs will be reimbursed to the City by the South
San Francisco Scavenger Company under the terms of the Franchise
Agreement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 14th day of
, 1995 by the following vote.
