CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING DOWNTOWN FACADE
IMPROVEMENT GRANTS FOR THE COUNTRY
COTTAGE CAFE AND WORLDS BEYOND
WHEREAS, during fiscal year 1994-1995, the City Council allocated
$100,000 from the Community Development Block Grant Program for
Downtown Facade Improvements Grants; and
WHEREAS, the Country Cottage Cafe and Worlds Beyond Downtown
Facade Improvement Grants are aligned with the City's policy of
cleaning up the downtown area and making improvements which will
result in improved physical appearances and visibility for local
merchants; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that:
1. A Downtown Facade Improvement Grant in the amount of $9,500
is approved for the Country Cottage Cafe.
2. A Downtown Facade Improvement Grant in the amount of $750 is
approved for Worlds Beyond.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 9th day
of August
, 1995 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes. John R. Penna,
Roberta Cerri Teglia and Mayor Robert Yee
