CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT CIP-11
TO THE 1994-1995 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
BUDGET FOR RENOVATION OF THE AVALON LOTS/
ZAMORA PARK IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, a special meeting was held by the Parks and
Recreation Commission in an effort to obtain input from residents
regarding a proposal to light the tennis court for evening play and
install security lighting around the rear pathway for the Avalon
Lots/Zamora Park projects; and
WHEREAS, the majority in attendance were not in favor of these
projects and it was suggested that the Avalon/Brentwood Homeowners
Association develop a new proposal for use of the available In Lieu
Park Fees; and
WHEREAS, ultimately the two projects were brought forward by
the Association and unanimously approved by the Commission on May
25, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the renovation of the Avalon Lots
is estimated at $30,000; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the improvements to Zamora Park is
estimated at $20,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco as follows:
1. The City Council hereby authorizes an amendment to the
1994- 1995 Capital Improvement Program in the amount of Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50,000) to cover costs associated with the
renovation and improvements of Avalon Lots/Zamora Park projects.
2. Funding for these projects is available
Avalon/Brentwood In-Lieu Park Fees Account - Zone III.

introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 9th day of
August , 1995 by the following vote:
