CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AWARD OF
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AND PAINE WEBBER, INC.
TO PROVIDE SERVICES AS MANAGING
UNDERWRITER ON BOND AND ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT FINANCING
WHEREAS, in accordance with City Council instructions, the
City Manager and Finance Director issued Request for proposals to
the major underwriting houses in the State of California asking
them to submit their proposal to act as Managing Underwriter to the
City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, following receipt of five proposals a grading
committee was formed to review the proposals; and
WHEREAS, findings of the committee have been compiled and the
recommended underwriter is Paine Webber, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that the City Manager is authorized and
directed to negotiate an arrangement with Paine Webber, Inc. to
render future services to the City as needed.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the city Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of
September , 1995 by the following vote.

Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Roberta Cerri Teqlia and Mayor Robert Yee
