HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 49-1994RESOLUTION NO. 49-94 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT 94-4 TO THE 1993-1994 OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, rodent (rat) control currently exists on the east side of Junipero Serra Boulevard adjacent to Winston Manor; and WHEREAS, the law currently requires that the rodent bait no longer be distributed to residents for home use by either the County or the City and can be applied only by a licensed pest control specialist; and WHEREAS, it is proposed that city staff perform initial rodent and vegetation control activities and that the City utilize the services of the contractor currently responsible for rodent control in and around Colma Creek to install bait stations in the affected areas; and WHEREAS, a cost estimate for labor and materials of about $400 per month or $5,000 annually has been received from the contractor for the services indicated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it hereby adopts this budget amendment to appropriate an amount not to exceed $2,450 ($1,250 for City materials and labor for FY 1993-94 and $1,200 for contract services for FY 1993-94) from the undesignated balance of the general fund to the non-departmental budget. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a reqular meeting held on the 27th day of April , 1994 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, John R.
