CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
THE STREET AND PARKWAY LANDSCAPE AREAS
WHEREAS, the City solicited competitive bids for the
maintenance of specific Street and Parkway Landscape Areas; and
WHEREAS, the bids were received and opened on April 20, 1994;
and
WHEREAS, Gachina Landscape Management was the most responsive
and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest
responsible bidder, Gachina Landscape Management, in the amount of
Seventy Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Seven ($70,887.00) Dollars,
and authorizes the city Manager to sign the agreement with Gachina
Landscape Management which is on file in the office of the city
Clerk.
2. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the lltb day of
May , 1994 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, John R. Penna, Roberta Cerri Te~lia,
Robert Yee and Mayor Joseoh A. Fernekes
