CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER STATION
RATE REVIEW AND APPROVING BUDGET
AMENDMENT 94-5 TO THE 1993-1994
OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, when the rate increase by the South San Francisco
Scavenger Company was approved, and as a provision of the franchise
agreement, it allowed for consideration of the profitability of
Blue Line Transfer and the transfer rate charge to the Scavenger
company; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City utilize the services of
Arthur Anderson & Co. to conduct an audit of the disposal costs
charged by Blue Line Transfer to the South San Francisco Scavenger
Company in an amount not to exceed $36,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco as follows:
1. That it hereby adopts this budget amendment to
appropriate $36,500 from the general fund to the undesignated
balance to the Finance Department budget.
2. That it hereby authorizes the City Manager to negotiate
an agreement with Arthur Anderson & Company to conduct this audit
in an amount not to exceed $36,500.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the llth day
of May , 1994 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Draqo, John R. Penna, Robert Yee
and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES:
Councilmember Roberta Cerri Teglia
