CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A 50% FEE
WAIVER FOR REISSUANCE OF BUILDING
PERMITS ON LOTS 33 THROUGH 46
FOR THE SUNRISE HOUSING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Sunrise Housing Project has been in various
stages of development for the last four years; and
WHEREAS, in 1990 building permits were initially issued and
paid for on the fourteen lots; and
WHEREAS, three of the units were never constructed and two
that had been partially constructed were subsequently demolished;
and
WHEREAS, in 1992 the Bank of the West paid an additional 50%
of the original fee in order to reactivate and extend the permits
which by then had lapsed; and
WHEREAS, the Haseko-DeSilva, Inc. has closed escrow for the
purchase of the Sunrise Housing Project and wishes a 50% waiver of
the required fees for reissuance of building, electrical,
mechanical and plumbing permits on lots 33 through 46.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that the City Council hereby approves the
request of Haseko-DeSilva for a 50% waiver of fees on lots 33
through 46 for the Sunrise Housing Project.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the city of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 8th day of
June , 1994 by the following vote:
