CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE
INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE FIGHTERS,
LOCAL 1507, WHEREIN SAID AMENDMENT IS TO
EXTEND THE CONTRACT PERIOD THROUGH
DECEMBER 31, 1994
WHEREAS, the City previously entered into a Memorandum of
Understanding with the International Association of Fire Fighters
Local 1507; and
WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding is set to expire by
its terms on July 1, 1994; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of South San Francisco
and the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 1507 to
extend said Memorandum of Understanding through December 31, 1994;
and
WHEREAS, all terms and conditions of the existing Memorandum
of Understanding except the termination date, which is being
amended herein, shall continue in full force until December 31,
1994.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco does hereby authorize the City Manager
to execute on behalf of the City of South San Francisco the Letter
of Understanding, attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

I hereby ~ertify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by ~he City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22nd day
of June , 1994, by the following called vote:

Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes

Letter of Understanding
This is to confirm the understanding reached with respect to the Memorandum Of
Understanding between the City of South San Francisco and International Association of
Firefighers - Local 1507 covering the period Suly 1, 1991 through ~une 30, 1994.
It is agreed that the M.O.U. is extended for a period of six (6) months beginning on Suly 1,
1994 and continuing through December 31, 1994.
All terms and conditions of thc M.O.U. shall continue in full until December 31, 1994
without change.
