HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 86-1994RESOLUTION NO. 86-94 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1994-1995 APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California Constitution states that all state and local government budgets are limited to a formula based upon the 1978-79 budget, plus adjustments for cost of living and population changes and specific exceptions for service charges, federal and state grants, reserve funds and so on; and WHEREAS, Division 9 of Title 1 of the Government Code (co~tmencing with Section 7900) implements Article XIIIB of the California Constitution; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the law the city of South San Francisco has prepared documentation establishing its 1994-1995 appropriation limit and has made this documentation available to the public for more than fifteen days. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it finds as follows: For 1994-95 the City's appropriation limit is $47,827,283. The adjustment factors used for calculation of this 1994-95 appropriation limit are the change in City population and growth in California Per Capita Personal Income. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a reQu]ar meeting held on the 22nd day of June , 1994 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, John R.
