CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER STATION
RATE REVIEW AND APPROVING BUDGET
AMENDMENT 95-3
WHEREAS, when the rate increase by the South San Francisco
Scavenger Company was approved, and as a provision of the franchise
agreement, it allowed for consideration of the profitability of
Blue Line Transfer and the transfer rate charge to the Scavenger
Company; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City utilize the services of
Arthur Anderson & Co. to conduct an audit of the disposal costs
charged by Blue Line Transfer to the South San Francisco Scavenger
Company in an amount not to exceed $36,500; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement with Arthur Anderson & Co. to provide
said services has been prepared.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco as follows:
1. That it hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute
said agreement with Arthur Anderson & Company to conduct this audit
in an amount not to exceed $36,500.
2. That Thirty Six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($36,500)
be appropriated for this purpose from revenues to be received as
reimbursement for this audit.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 14th day
of September , 1994 by the following vote:
