CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT WITH
ROBERT F. BEYER TO SERVE AT INTERIM DIRECTOR OF
ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco seeks to continue the special assistance being
provided to coordinate its efforts in Economic and Community Development; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that Robert F. Beyer, ofBeyer & Associates is qualified by
training and experience to continue rendering such services and he has agreed to an extension of such
services; and
WHEREAS, the public interest for the City of South San Francisco will be served by the extension
of the Agreement with Beyer & Associates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco and Robert F. Beyer, Principal ofBeyer & Associates do mutually agree as follows:
1. Robert F. Beyer, Principal ofBeyer & Associates will continue to serve as Interim Director
of the City's Economic and Community Development Department as outlined in the attached Agreement
and Proposal.
2. Said services shall be provided as above and in consultation and supervision with the Acting
City Manager.
3. The Acting City Manger is directed to act on behalf of the City and enter into and execute
the personal services agreement with Robert F. Beyer of Beyer & Associates.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regul ar meeting held on the 28th day of
September ,1994 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Roberta Cerri Teglia, Robert Yee
and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Councilmember John R. Penna
