HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 122-1994RESOLUTION NO. 122-94 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET RECOMMENDATION FOR THE PIANCA BUILDING LOCATED AT 408 LINDEN AVENUE WHEREAS, the Downtown Citizens Review Committee has recommended assistance from the Facade Improvement Program for improvements on Linden Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Pianca Building located at 400 Linden Avenue is in need of exterior painting, new awnings, window planters and a new signage system; and WHEREAS, the Committee has recommended a $10,000 grant, and a matching grant of $20,000 for exterior painting, new awnings, window planters and a new signage system. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that: 1. A grant of $30,000 is awarded from Community Development Block Grant Funds to the Pianca Building, 400 Linden Avenue, for exterior painting, new awnings, window planters and a new signage system. 2. The city Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute any and all documents necessary to assure that the above- listed grant is awarded and the project is carried out. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 28th day of 5~pt~mber , 1994 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Roberta Cerri Teqlia, Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Pianca.CBG Councilmember John R. Penna
