CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY
SALARY AND BENEFIT INCREASE
FOR THE ACTING CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, Patricia Martel has served as Acting City Manager
since September 6, 1994 and whereas Patricia Martel may continue to
serve as the Acting City Manager until such time as a new City
Manager is appointed;
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that Patricia Martel has
assumed additional duties and responsibilities associated with the
position of Acting city Manager;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to augment the compensation
package provided to Patricia Martel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that it hereby approves a temporary salary
increase of five (5) percent for Patricia Martel and also approves
an increase in her automobile allowance to three hundred and fifty
dollars ($350) per month. Said increases shall be effective
September 6, 1994 and continue as long as Patricia Martel serves as
Acting City Manager.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a ~gu]ar meeting held on the ?6th day of 0¢t0ber,
1994, by the following vote:

Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
