CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET RECOMMENDATION
FOR THE DESIGN IN SQUARES LOCATED AT 389 GRAND
AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Downtown Citizens Review Committee has
recommended assistance from the Facade Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, Design in Squares, a new business at 389 Grand Avenue
is in need of a new signage system; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has recommended a $1,000 grant for the
new signage system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. A grant of $1,000 is awarded from Community Development
Block Grant Funds to Design in Squares for a new signage system.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and
execute any and all documents necessary to assure that the above-
listed grant is awarded and the project is carried out.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 9th day of
November , 1994 by the following vote:
