CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION TO ABOLISH CERTAIN POSITIONS
OR TO REDUCE THEIR HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3.32.010 of the South San
Francisco Municipal Code, the city Council has determined that in
the interest of economy certain positions, which are listed in the
attachment and incorporated as Exhibit "A", shall be abolished or
shall have their hours of employment reduced; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to provide a reasonable
notice period to employees affected by the abolishment of such
positions or by a reduction in the hours of employment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the date upon which such
positions shall be abolished or shall have their hours of
employment reduced shall be October 1, 1993.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that affected employees shall be
notified as expeditiously as possible by the City of the
abolishment of their position or of the reduction in the hours of
employment.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the city of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 14th day of
July , 1993 by the following vote:

Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia
