CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
RENOVATION AND DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE
WEST ORANGE LIBRARY RENOVATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to the call for bids as provided in
Resolution No. 63-93 adopted June 9, 1993, and published notice,
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on Thursday, the
15th day of June, 1993, for the West Orange Library Renovation
Project; and
WHEREAS, the city negotiated a contract for the design
services during construction of the West Orange Library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, as follows:
1. The Council hereby awards the construction contract to
the lowest responsible bidder, I.P.G Builders, Inc. in the amount
of Two Hundred Seventy Four Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars.
($274,350.00), and authorizes the City Manager to sign the
agreement with I.P.G. Builders, Inc., which is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to
enter inso and execute a contract with Mock/Wallace Associates for
design services during construction in an amount not to exceed Nine
Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($9,160.00), a copy of which is
on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 25th day of
August , 1993 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
