CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1993-1994 APPROPRIATION
LIMIT FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PURSUANT
TO ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California Constitution states
that all state and local government budgets are limited to a
formula ~ased upon the 1978-79 budget, plus adjustments for cost
of living and population changes and specific exceptions for
service charges, federal and state grants, reserve funds and so on;
and
WHEREAS, Division 9 of
(commencing with Section 7900)
California Constitution; and
Title 1 of the Government Code
implements Article XIIIB of the
WHEREAS, in accordance with the law the City of South San
Francisco has prepared documentation establishing its 1993-1994
appropriation limit and has made this documentation available to
the public for more than fifteen days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco that it finds:
For 1993-94 the City's appropriation limit is
$46,769,848. The adjustment factors used for calculation
of this 1993-94 appropriation limit are the change in
County population and California Per Capita Personal
Income.
For 1993-94 the City of South San Francisco is within the
limits of Article XIIIB of the California Constitution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 25th day of
Au§ust , 1993 by the following vote:

Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
