CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
RENOVATION AND DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE
WEST PARK 1,2 & 3 PARKS AND PARKWAYS
MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS RENOVATION/
REHABILITATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to the call for bids as provided in
Resolution No. 70-93 adopted June 23, 1993, and published notice,
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on Tuesday, the
27th day of July, 1993, for the West Park 1,2 & 3 Parks and
Parkways Maintenance Districts Renovation; and
WHEREAS, the City negotiated a contract for the design
services during construction of the West Park 1,2 & 3 Parks and
Parkways Maintenance Districts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, as follows:
1. The Council hereby awards the construction contract to
the lowest responsible bidder, Golden Bay Construction Company,
Inc. in the amount of One Million Five Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand
Four Hundred Ninety Four Dollars ($1,599,494.00), and authorizes
the City Manager to sign the agreement with Golden Bay
Construction, Inc. which is on file in the Office of the City
Clerk.
2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to
enter into and execute a contract with Gates & Associates for
design services during construction in an amount not to exceed
Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00), a copy of which is on file in
the Office of the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 25th day of
Auaust , 1993 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
