CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
ADDENDUM TO THE SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT
DATED JUNE 14, 1989 FOR THE SUNRISE
SUBDIVISION/APPIAN WAY PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 73-89 dated June 14, 1989
the City Council approved the final map for the Sunrise
Subdivision and authorizing related acts; and
WHEREAS, before completion date of August 1, 1990, the Bank of
the West foreclosed on the project; and
WHEREAS, the Bank wishes to market the property and to salvage
as much of the existing construction as possible; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes the Bank to pay a portion of the
reconstruction of Appian Way costs, to complete the remainder of
the public improvements and to either complete the construction
of the homes or demolish the existing uncompleted structures; and
WHEREAS, the addendum to the Agreement attempts to resolve
these issues to the Bank's and the city's mutual satisfaction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that the City Manager is authorized to
execute on behalf of the City the Addendum to the Agreement
entitled "Sunrise Subdivision/Appian Way Agreement Addendum to
Subdivision Agreement Dated June 14, 1989" between the City of
South San Francisco and Sunrise Estates. A copy of the Addendum
to the Agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 25th day of
August , 1993 by the following vote.

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Te§lia
