CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FUNDING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE BAY AREA AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT
DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
~EREAS, Assembly Bill AB 434 (Transportation Fund for
Clean Air in the Bay Area) authorizes the Bay Area Air Quality
Management District (B.A.A.Q.M.D.) to allocate funds to public
agencies to implement projects to reduce air pollution from
motor vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco proposes to
purchase alternative fuel vehicles and has requested funding
for thSs project through the B.A.A.Q.M.D. program; and
WHEREAS, the City has been notified that the B.A.A.Q.M.D.
has approved the City's application for $38,258.00 for this
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South Francisco that the funding agreement for the
purchase of alternative fuel vehicles is hereby approved, and
the City Manager is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to secure the Grant Funds. A copy of the agreement
is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on
the 8th day of September , 199'3 by the following
vote:
