CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE APPIAN WAY RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 132-92 funds have been
appropriated for the construction of the Appian Way Reconstruction
Project; and
Additional funds have also been appropriated in Budget
Amendment 93-3 to the 1992-1993 Capital Improvement Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the construction contract for
the Appian Way Reconstruction Project to the lowest responsible
bidder, Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc., of South San
Francisco, California in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Three
Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Nine Dollars and Twenty cents
($153,659.20), and authorizes the city Manager to sign the
agreement with Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc., which is on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
3. The Council authorizes advancing Capital Improvement
funds if necessary to construct the project prior to receiving
developer contributions.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 8th day of
September , 1993 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Dra(~o, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia
