HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 126-1993 RESOLUTION NO. 126-93 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE CDBG GRANT AMOUNT PREVIOUSLY AWARDED TO FOWLER BUILDING WHEREAS, the City Council previously awarded a $5,000 C.D.B.G. Grant and a $50,000 Matching C.D.B.G. Grant to the Fowler Building; and WHEREAS, after the award of the Grant the owners of the Fowler Building requested that half of their matching contribution be in the form of a $25,000 credit for the recently completed seismic retrofitting of the building; and WHEREAS, allowing the credit for the completed seismic work, it is required that additional funds be allocated for facade renovation, new cornice, awnings, exterior painting and new entry door. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. An additional $25,000 loan at 0% interest, amortized over 10 years be awarded for the Fowler Building renovation. 2. The budget for the Fowler building at 262 Grand Avenue is hereby increased by $25,000, to reflect the above-referenced loan. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 22nd day of September , 1993 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Tealia NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None ATTEST:
