A RESOLUTION EXTENDING STONEGATE
RIDGE AND WILLOW GARDENS COMMON
GREENS MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR
THREE (3) MONTHS
WHEREAS, R.M.T. Landscape Contractors, Inc. is currently under
contract to provide maintenance service for Stonegate Ridge and
Willow Gardens Common Greens; and
WHEREAS, subject contract is due to expire on or about
February 28, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City went out to bid for a new contract for the
maintenance of the common Greens; and
WHEREAS, the City Council at their meeting of February 9, 1994
decided to reject all bids and re-bid the project and;
WHEREAS, re-bidding the project will take several months; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide continuance of the
maintenance of Common Greens during the re-bidding process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The current contract with R.M.T. Landscape Contractors,
Inc. for providing maintenance service for Stonegate Ridge and
Willow Gardens Common Greens is hereby extended from March 1, 1994
through May 31, 1994.
2. The amount of such contract shall not exceed Seven
Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($7,800.00).
3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate the
extension of the above-mentioned contract and execute any and all
documents necessary to assure that it is entered into.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 23rd day of
February , 1994 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Jack Drago, Roberta Cerri Teglia, Robert Yee
and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT:
Councilmember John R. Penna
