CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING WEST PARK
1, 2 & 3 COMMON GREENS MAINTENANCE
CONTRACT FOR THREE (3) MONTHS
WHEREAS, Environmental Care, Inc. is currently under contract
to provide maintenance service for West Park 1, 2 & 3 Common
Greens; and
WHEREAS, subject contract is due to expire on or about
February 28, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City went out to bid for a new contract for the
maintenance of the common Greens; and
WHEREAS, the City Council at their meeting of February 9, 1994
decided to reject all bids and re-bid the project and;
WHEREAS, re-bidding the project will take several months; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide continuance of the
maintenance of Common Greens during the re-bidding process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The current contract with Environmental Care, Inc. for
providin~ maintenance service for West Park 1, 2 & 3 Common Greens
is hereby extended from March 1, 1994 through May 31, 1994.
2. The amount of such contract shall not exceed Forty Two
Thousand Nine Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($42,916).
3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate the
extension of the above-mentioned contract and execute any and all
documents necessary to assure that it is entered into.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 23rd day of
February , 1994 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Roberta Cerri Teqlia,
Robert Yee and MayOr Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
