CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING STREET AND
PARKWAY LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
CONTRACT FOR THREE (3) MONTHS
WHEREAS, Environmental Care, Inc. is currently under contract
to provide maintenance service for Street and Parkway Landscape
areas; and
WHEREAS, subject contract is due to expire on or about
February 28, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City went out to bid for a new contract for the
maintenance of the Street and Parkway Landscape areas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council at their meeting of February 9, 1994
decided ~o reject all bids and re-bid the project and;
WHEREAS, re-bidding the project will take several months; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide continuance of the
landscape maintenance during the re-bidding process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The current contract with Environmental Care, Inc. for
providing maintenance service for Street and Parkway Landscape
areas is hereby extended from March 1, 1994 through May 31, 1994.
2. The amount of such contract shall not exceed Thirty
Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Three Dollars ($30,743.00).
3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate the
extension of the above-mentioned contract and execute any and all
documents necessary to assure that it is entered into.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 23rd day of
Februa~ , 1994 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Roberta Cerri Te.qlia,
Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
