RESOLUTION NO. 34-94
;CIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF USE
OF SAN MATEO COUNTY HOME CONSORTIUM FUNDS
FOR SEISMIC RETROFITTING AND DISABILITY
ACCESS AND AUTHORIZING RESULTANT CONTRACTS
FOR THE METROPOLITAN HOTEL
{EAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 87-93 dated July 14, 1994,
of South San Francisco requested and was allowed $200,000
L1 HOME funding from the San Mateo County HOME Consortium;
and ~
WHEREAS, in 1992-1993 the City received HOME funding from the
San Mated County Consortium of which $230,000 of those funds are
available for the renovation of the Metropolitan Hotel; and
WHEREAS, additional funds in the amount of $200,000 are
requiredito seismically retrofit and provide accessibility to the
upper floors of the Metropolitian Hotel; and
NOWi THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South!Francisco that:
1. Total funds in the amount of $430,000 required to
seismica!ly retrofit and provide accessibility to the upper floors
of the M~tropolitan Hotel are hereby approved.
I h~reby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisc~ at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 23rd day of
Mar~h , 1994 by the following vote:
