CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROJECT, PHASE VII
WHEREAS, pursuant to the call for bids as provided in
Resolution No. 142-92 adopted October 28, 1992, and published
notice, Dids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 8th
day of December, 1992, for the Aircraft Noise Insulation Project,
Phase VII Project No. PB-92-1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract for one hundred
(100) homes to the lowest responsible bidder, G.E. Chen
Construc'tion of San Mateo in the amount of Seven Hundred Forty
Eight Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Eight Dollars. ($748,528.00),
and authorizes the City Manager to sign the agreement with G.E.
Chen Construction which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
2. The Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to
negotiate and sign a supplemental agreement with Corlett, Skaer &
DeVoto for architectural design for an additional eighteen (18)
homes in an amount not to exceed $31,617.69.
3. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a Re§u]ar meeting held on the 13th day of
January , 1993 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John
R. Penna, Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
