HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5-1993 RESOLUTION NO. 5-93 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR THE CONVENING OF A FISCAL REVIEW COMMITTEE ~EREAS, on January 13, 1993, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco authorized transmittal of, and the CSty of South San Francisco received, the Preliminary Report prepared for the E1 Camino Corridor Redevelopment Project pursuant to California Health & Safety Code §33344.5; and ~EREAS, California Health & Safety Code §33353 authorizes a county or any affected taxing agency to call for the creation of a fiscal review committee within fifteen (15) days after receip~ of the Preliminary Report. Pursuant to §33353.2, the City of South San Francisco is an "affected taxing agency", and as such, wishes to call for the convening of a Fiscal Review Committee to review the impact of the proposed redevelopment projec~ upon the affected taxing entities. ~NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco approves the convening of a Fiscal Review committee and hereby requests the City of South San Francisco Redevelopment Agency staff to notify all other affected taxing entities of the creation of such Committee. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 13th day of January , 1993 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, and Robert Yee NOES: None ABSTAIN: Councilmember John R. Penna, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia ABSENT: N0ne
