HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 16-1993 RESOLUTION NO. 16-93 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED FOR THE EL CAMINO CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ~EREAS, pursuant to the California Redevelopment Law (Health & Safety Code §33000 et seq.) and to direction by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco (the "Agency") staff and consultants have prepared for distribution to each affected taxing entity, the Fiscal Review Committee, and other interested parties, a Draft Environmental Impact Report (the "Draft EIR") on the E1 Camino Corridor Redevelopment Project (the "Project") and the City of South San Francisco General Plan Amendment; and ~EREAS, by Resolution No. 155-92, adopted November 18, 1992, ~he City Council of the City of South San Francisco (the "City ~ouncil" designated the City of South San Francisco as the Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act, the preparation of the environmental documents for the Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South Francisco as follows: 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes and directs staff to distribute the Draft EIR to all affected taxing entities, to the Fiscal Review Committee, and to various other interested persons and entities as required by law. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at regular meeting held on the 27th day of January , 1993 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, and Robert Yee NOES: None ABSTAIN: Councilmember John R. Penna, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia ABSENT: N0ne ATTEST: 2
