HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 17-1993RESOLUTION NO. 17-93 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED 10' ACROSS THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 221 INDIO DRIVE, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. This City Council, pursuant to Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets & Highways Code §§ 8300 et seq., does hereby declare its intention to vacate and abandon a 10' public utility easement located across the property at 221 Indio Drive, South San Francisco. 2. Notice is hereby given that Wednesday, the 10th day of March, 1993 at 7:30 p.m., which time is not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation of the public utility easement as hereinafter described, may appear before the City Council and be heard. 3. A copy of this Resolution shall be published for at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing date in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City in the manner prescribed by law for publishing ordinances. 4. Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution of Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously at or about the subject portion of the property proposed to be vacated at least ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing, not more'than 300 feet apart, and not less than three (3) notices shall be posted. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of Janua~ , 1993 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna, Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: None ABSTAIN: N0ne ABSENT: None
