CITY COUNCIL~ CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCI$COf STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A GRANT FOR
RELOCATION OF THE ART RISE STUDIO THEATER
WHEREAS, the performing arts group from the Art Rise Theater
must vacate the premises at E1 Rancho School facility by June 30,
1992; and
WHEREAS, $2,000.00 is needed to defray expenses to be incurred
in relocating to a new theater facility; and
WHEREAS, the Cultural Events Trust Fund was established in
December, 1986 with a current total amount of $21,824.00 whidh is
available for use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
city of South San Francisco hereby authorizes a grant of up to
$2,000.0.) from the Cultural Events Trust Fund to the Art Rise
Theater in order to defray actual expenses incurred in relocating
to a new facility.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a reau]ar meeting held on the 2?th day of
January ~ 1993 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teglia
