HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 20-1993 RESOLUTION NO. 20-93 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE CDBG GRANT AMOUNTS PREVIOUSLY AWARDED TO COLOMBO LIQUORS AND THE LANGENBACH BUILDING WHEREAS, the City Council previously awarded a $800 C.D.B.G. Grant to Colombo Liquors; WHEREAS, after the award of the Grant the owner of Colombo Liquors decided to expand the proposed project to include painting of the existing signs; and WHEREAS, the cost of the proposed new improvement will add $1,000 to the project budget; and WHEREAS, the Council previously awarded a $10,000 C.D.B.G. Grant to rehabilitate the Langenbach Property; and WHEREAS, the signage for the Building turned out to be slightly more expensive than the allocated budget; and WHEREAS, the additional cost of the Langenbach Building will be $2,000; and WHEREAS, the Downtown citizens Review Committee recommends increasing the funding for the two above-listed projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. The budget for the Colombo Liquors Project at 507 Linden Avenue is hereby increased by $1,000 to a total of $1,800. 2. The budget for the Langenbach Building Project at 307-215 Grand Avenue is hereby increased by $2,000 to a total of $12,000 C.D.B.G. Grant and $6,000 Matching Funds. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisc~ at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of February , 1993 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna, Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Teqlia NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None ATTEST:
