CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION NAMING THE CURRENT
BASEBALL FIELD IN ORANGE MEMORIAL
PARK IN HONOR'OF BOB BRIAN
WHEREAS, several letters have been received requesting the
naming of the current Orange Memorial Park baseball field in honor
of Bob Brian; and
WHEREAS, the request was forwarded to the Orange Park Advisory
Committee and the Park and Recreation Commission for their review
and approval; and
WHEREAS, the contributions made to the community by Bob Brian
are priceless.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco hereby names the current Orange
Memorial Park baseball field in honor of Bob Brian.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 24th day of
February , 1993 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Jack Drano, Joseph A. Fernekes, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee, and Mayor Roberta Cerri Te.qlia
