CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION
AND ABANDONMENT OF A 10 FOOT PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED ACROSS THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 221 INDIO DRIVE,
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, this City Council having declared its intention to abandon
and vacate a LO foot public utility easement located across the property
located at 222 Indio Drive, being within the City of South San Francisco,
California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference
made a part thereof, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9,
(Section 8300 et seq.) of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, and the City Council having herefore adopted Resolution No.
17-93 declaring its intention to abandon and vacate the subject easement,
and notice thereof having been given in all respects for the period of
time and in the manner required by law, and the matter of abandonment and
vacation having been heard before the City Council at its regular meeting
at the time and place fixed therefor in the Resolution of Intention, and
--the City Council having heard the protests and objections of all persons
~o protesting or objecting, and having found that the herein described
~asement without reservation is unnecessary for present or prospective
public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco, California as follows:
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that the public utility easement located at 221
Indio Drive, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference
incorporated herein, be, and the same is hereby abandoned and vacated,
without reservation.
A map of the public utility easement subject to vacation and
abandonment by this Order is on file in the Office of the City Clerk of
South San Francisco, California, and the map is hereby referred to for
more particulars.
The City Clerk is hereby instructed to record this Resolution of
Vacation with the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco a~ a re§u]ar meeting held on the 10th day of
March , 1993, by the following vote:

ABANDONMENT OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
AT 221 INDIO DRIVE
Situated in the City of South San Francisco, County of
San Mateo, State of California and described as follows:
Being all of the 10 foot wide public utility easement,
the centerline of which is located 95 feet southwest of,
and parallel to, Indio Drive, as shown within Lot 5 of
Block 16, as said lot and block are shown upon the Map of
Rancho Buri-Buri, South San Francisco, California, filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of San Mateo in Book 25 of Maps at pages 28, 29
and 30.
