CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
THE OYSTER POINT INTERCHANGE PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT 93-11
TO THE 1992-1993 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
BUDGET
WHEREAS, pursuant to the call for bids as provided in
Resolution No. 145-92 adopted October 28, 1992, and published
notice, Dids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the
22nd day of March, 1992, for the Oyster Point Interchange Project
No. ST-86-3; and
WHEREAS, Oliver
responsiDle bid; and
De Silva, Inc. submitted the lowest
WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage Oliver De Silva, Inc. as
the construction contractor for the project.
WHEREAS, the City has taken action to obtain project funding
as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract for eighteen
million five hundred seventy eight thousand five hundred ninety six
dollars ($18,578,596) to the lowest responsible bidder, Oliver De
Silva, Inc. and authorizes the City Manager to sign the agreement
with Oliver De Silva, Inc., which is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
2. The Council hereby adopts Capital Improvement Budget
Amendment 93-11 to appropriate $29,230,000 from the above-listed
sources to replace the prior 1992-93 appropriations for this
Project.
3. The Director of Public Works is authorized to spend the
necessary funds, up to the budgeted amount, to complete the
project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 14th day of
April , 1993 by the following vote:
