CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 1992-1993
GENERAL AND CITY SERVICE FUND OPERATING BUDGETS
FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND ADOPTING
CORRESPONDING APPROPRIATIONS
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the City Council
estimates of revenues from all sources, and estimates of
expendisures required for the proper conduct of the activities of
the City of South San Francisco for the Fiscal Year 1992-93
contained in a document entitled "City of South San Francisco
Preliminary Operating Budget 1992-93"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council provided interested persons an
opportunity to be heard on matters pertaining to the proposed
budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted appropriations
for non-general funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council made certain revisions to the budget
as proposed which require changes to some of the figures presented
in the proposed budget; and
WHEREAS, the State of California has failed in its obligation
to adopt a budget and provide information regarding funds available
for the operation of local government.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco that it finds:
The operating budget for Fiscal Year 1992-93 presented by
the City Manager contained within the document entitled
"city of South San Francisco Preliminary Operating Budget
1992-93" and any changes and revisions thereto approved
by the City Council are hereby approved and adopted as
the Operating Budget of the City of South San Francisco
for Fiscal Year 1992-93. A copy of the approved budget
is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Any and all expenditures for, and agreements relating to,
the programs and materials described in the budget, may
be expended or entered into under authority of or by the
City Manager, are hereby approved and authorized, and
payments therefor may be made by the Director of Finance.
The amounts listed in Table 1 are hereby appropriated for
expenditure.
4. Should the State of California act to reduce revenues
anticipated in this budget, the City Manager is hereby directed to
present revisions to this budget within forty-five (45) days of
adoption of the State budget should that document reduce City
revenues.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of
ALgust , 1992 by the following vote:
