CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE
HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITION (HVAC)
REPLACEMENT FOR THE ORANGE PARK POOL
WHEREAS, the Heating, Ventilation and Air Condition system
(HVAC) for the Orange Park Pool are in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, it was determined that cost savings could be achieved
by first purchasing the equipment and later advertising for bids to
install the City-furnished HVAC units;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, that:
1. The Council hereby awards the contract for the purchase of
three HVAC units to the Trane Company, South San Francisco, CA. for
an amoun~ not to exceed Twenty Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety
Four Dollars ($27,894.00) and authorizes the Director of Public
Works to call for bids to install the Heating, Ventilation and Air
Condition (HVAC) units. Funding for this project is provided for
in the Capital Improvement Program.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
execute ~he written contract between the City and the successful
bidder on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
3. The Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a requ]ar meeting held on the 9th day of
September , 1992 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Joseph A. Fernekes, Roberta Cerri
TeQlia, Robert Yee, and Mayor John R. Penna
