CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL
OF AN APPLICATION TO THE SAN MATEO
COUNTY CONSORTIUM FOR HOME PROGRAM
FUNDING
WHEREAS, the San Mateo County HOME Consortium has been
allocated $3.3 million to provide a new source of federal
financing for a variety of affordable housing project; and
WHEREAS, funds will be distributed on a competitive basis
through a request for proposals process administered by the
County;
~EREAS, the City will be requesting $450,000 in HOME
funding to implement a Rental Rehabilitation Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South Francisco that application to the San Mateo
County Consortium for Home Program Funding is hereby approved,
and the City Manager is authorized to submit the application to
the San Mateo County HOME Consortium, along with any additional
information required and to execute all documents necessary to
secure the Grant Funds.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on
the 28th day of October , 1992 by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Joseph A. Fernekes, and Robert Yee
NOES: None
ABSTAIN:None
ABSENT: C0uncilmember R0berta Cerri Teqlia, and Mayor John R. Penna
