CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF
$2,914.56 FROM THE OFFICE OF TRAFF:[C SAFETY (OTS) IN
GRANT FUNDING FOR SEATBELT ENFORCEMENT DURING
THE CLICK IT OR TICKET CAMPAIGN AhTD AMENDING THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT'S 2010/11 OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of $2,914.56 in grant funding from OTS to
participate in the two statewide mobilization phases for seatbelt enforcement commonly known as
the Click It or Ticket campaign; and
WHEREAS, the grant funding will be used to augment the operating budget of the Police
Department for FY 2010/2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby accepts the $2,914.56 in grant funding from OTS and amends
the 2010/2011 Police Department Operating Budget to reflect this increase of funds.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 8th day ofDecember
2010 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark Addiego, Pedro Gonzalez, and Karyl Matsumoto,
Vice Mayor Richard A. Garbarino and Mayor Kevin Mullin
