CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET
AMENDMENT 93-3 TO THE 1992-93
OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of South San Francisco
has authorized the submittal of an application to the California
Integraned Waste Management Board for a Used Oil Collection
Demonstration Grant; and
WHEREAS, the application was submitted as a joint effort with
the South San Francisco Scavenger Company; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of this program is $21,920.00; and
WHEREAS, South San Francisco Scavenger Company will contribute
fifty (50%) percent of the total cost through their in-kind
services; and
WHEREAS, the CIWMB has informed South San Francisco that the
application has been accepted and that $10,960 will be awarded to
the City.
, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that it hereby adopts this budget amendment
to a Ten Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Dollars ($10,960.00)
from the undesignated general fund balance to the Engineering
Division's Operating Budget for the Used Oil Collection
Demonstr. Project.
